Identifying Times Corps Agents

When Time Corps agents first arrive pastward at an incursion, they are often told to meet the agent already on the scene. However, how can you tell who's a historical native of the timeline and who's a Time Corps agent? (You can't just go around asking random citizens if they just arrived on their chronoscooters!)
