Looks over his shoulder at Biz. If we're going to lose a mage, I'd prefer to lose the one who hits companions with spells from behind. Oh well.

He joins Soldath and Renardius to check the bodies and look over the remains of the settlement and the boat.

athelstan - FIghter

Athelstan sighs when he sees Biz head out to nab Kalanos. "Dammit. Does everyone in this bunch want to die?" He shouts at her "He's deranged! Let him cool down! We are looking for Stephan, his whereabouts are unknown, Kalanos is okay...."

Then he says in a resigned tone "no one listens to me. He's just a dumb warrior, they say..." And he'll mount up to follow Biz, shouting to the others, "I'm going to chase after the TWO crazy ones."

Gregor follows Athelstan in pursuit of Kalanos and Biz. As luck would have it, you catch up with him just outside of earshot of the rest of the party. Sigh. Sumo and Badams, check your private posts.

The rest of you, finding nothing that Renardius hadn't already discovered, help the cleric gather up the dead.

Any idea where you'd like to go next? Anything you want to examine one last time?

Tret, most of the boat is submerged, with only the prow sticking out of the water. Gregor saw the boat sink a few days ago. He can probably tell you what happened.

From far off in the woods, you hear shouting. You're too far off to make out what is being said, but you can tell it's Kalanos.

Soldath - Mage

Best check it out. He will mount up and start heading toward the shouting.

Renardius (Cleric)

"It doesn't sound as if his demeanor has improved." Nevertheless, he goes with Soldath to investigate.

You all mount your horses and follow the sound of Kalanos' voice. Moments later you come upon a clearing with a large boulder. Kalanos is lying on the ground. Gregor is kneeling next to him, Athelstan is clutching his belly, and Biz is shaking her head.
