Soldath - Mage

Soldath will dismount and make his way to Jarek. He will see if there is any sign of life.

Renardius (Cleric)

Renardius moves to flank the elf, timing his attack simultaneously with Athelstan's to catch her off guard.

BIZ:MU

Spurs her horse at the opponent that turned towards her, that is now blinded, hoping to 'mow him down' with her charging steed.

Day 9, Loshdain, Thaumont 9th, Dymrak Forest, evening, Combat Round 3

Jarek has fallen! What will Tret say when he awakens? No time to wonder right now.

Soldath hops off his horse and runs to check Jarek for signs of life. He finds none.

Fyodorll backs up, sword wavering, as the warriors close in. Turning on her heel, she sprints and leaps with an elven grace atop Athelstan's horse. She can try to flee next round.

Renardius chases after her, swinging his mace. He misses.

Biz spurs her horse across the clearing and around the corral. She charges the blinded ruffian, who ducks out of the way at the last second. Instead, she tramples the sleeping one (4 hp dmg). Bones snap. He awakens with a hoarse cry (no pun intended).

Taras lunges with his battle axe at Fyodorll. He misses (d20: 1), again, sinking his blade into Athelstan's horse (5 hp dmg). The horse neighs and snorts, rearing up its front hoofs. One hits Taras in the shoulder (1 hp dmg). Fyodorll struggles to stay in the saddle, but loses her balance and falls to the ground with a THUMP! (5 hp dmg).

Image

Athelstan strides up to the fallen elf, great sword in hand. Fyodorll is prone, bleeding and defenseless. Will he administer a coup de grace? Order her to be bound? Turn Taras loose on her?

All eyes are on you, Athelstan.

Athelstan - Fighter

Athelstan wants to finish her off, but can't.
He grunts "Death is too good for you, filth." And he'll use his fists to knock her out.

Assuming that works, he'll bind her immediately so she can't cast spells. If that doesn't work... well, he'll use her for a two-handed sword pincushion.

Renardius (Cleric)

Renardius scans the area for any more foes. If he sees Tret lying there alone, he'll rush over to give assistance (and wake him when he discovers the thief asleep). He'll make no comment, humourous or otherwise.

I bet you can't wait for Tret to reach 5th level, where he'll become immune to sleep spells. :D

Athelstan, you knock Fyodorll out with a blow to the head. You can easily bind and gag her so that she cannot cast any spells.

As for the elf's henchmen:
One is dead.
One is asleep near Tret.
One is blinded.
One just got stepped on by a horse.

So, combat is over. You can easily round up the prisoners and question them, kill them, shoot arrows at their feet and watch them dance, etc.

Tret, Mr. Personality, a.k.a. Renardius, has snapped you out of your magical slumber without so much as a smile.

What next? It's going to be dark soon.

Soldath - Mage

Closing Jarek's eyes he will get up and walk back to his horse. Looks like we'll be spending the night here. Should we get a fire started.

There's one burning already in front of the three wagons.
