The party slinks around the corner, just peeking.

The door at the end is slightly ajar, although not enough to see anything beyond. The door south is closed. Both of are the iron banded wood variety.

Sean says, This whole area stinks of bugbears. Ugh.

"Sean says, This whole area stinks of bugbears. Ugh."

Pax addressing Sean & the group: "Agreed. I reckon more will be on the way into this kitchen." Might we take the bodies of our slain enemies and pile them in #244?

OoC: I think we should pull back for rest (#245 etc.) clean up as best we can and take the bodies with us. The kitchen would seem to be a busy area and it would be unlikely that more creatures wouldn't find us there-interrupting our rest. We can continue further along after the rest. Just my two cents... Y/N?

Agreed. Thurwin needs to get some spells loaded up.

"We should probably block both doors (in 226) if we don't want to explore this part yet. As said, the kitchen will definitely be a busy area." says Calthas. He enter the room and examines the small recess in front of the north door.

In 226? Those aren't doors, just poorly drawn fireplaces, I think. Dyson Logos didn't draw these maps and they suffer for it. :)

Calthas scratches the back of his head. "I will be damned! Those fireplaces looked like doors to me a while ago..." mumbles the elf, trying to avoid the sight of the dwarfs.

OoC: Ha! I thought they were doors too! I barely noticed that they weren't, after a rereading the text.

Pax: Motions to bor to help him with one of the bodies (and moving them to the other room(s)) Wondering if the elf will get his hands dirty...

The party drags and loads the bodies back in the earlier explored room (244). No one disturbs them as they do so.

Then the party rests. Hours pass and the party is unmolested. Spells are relearned and food consumed. It's a good rest. Well, as good as you're likely to get here.

Calmert: Cleric
Calmert searches the fireplaces (in 226) while waiting for the group to get ready to move.

Effric feeds Sly while he readies himself for the day.

"Shall we head south, or some other way?" he asks.
