Immalor, Elf

Immalor will move back through the door to make way for retreating comrades. He will fire an arrow once more if he can get a good shot.

"If we run be quick!."

"Ach! Legs don't a-fail me now!"

Seeing discretion is the better part of valor against the pudding-things, Balfa tosses the torch he is holding at the nearest one and promptly beings the process of high-tailing it the heck out of there.

Initiative rolls round 3
Monsters roll 2, party rolls 5

Those actively fighting the amorphous denizens of this underground tomb are able to disengage and flee back to the secret door they entered through. You move at a brisk pace back up the stairwell and now stand winded in the empty room at the top of the stairs.

The door leading outside is cracked open a bit allowing some fresh air in. It is now just after 1200 noon.

(There is a rough parchment area map you found uploaded under the maps thread)

What are your next actions?

Let the red dawn surmise
What we shall do,
When this blue starlight dies
And all is through.

"We probably won't be able to progress using brute force. Spirits are at work here who are probably more powerful than we are. Let's try and find a way to make these creatures retreat... or let's find another way to go." proposes Zavenorrin in a concerned tone, why dusting his clothes.

Turin, cleric

Well, fire doesn't work. Armor just seems to feed them, sadly, he says, looking down at his undergarments.

"What about these urns? What can we make of them?" asks Zavenorrin, genuinely curious. He approaches and take another good look at them.

Immalor, Elf

As Zavenorrin examines the urns, Immalor will keep an eye on the stairs, in case the slime beasts are attempting a sneaky ambush and what not.

"My arrows seemed to be hurting them some, perhaps we can try to lure them into an ambush of our own and take them out from a distance." he says to the party in general.

"Or perhaps, we could leave sleping dogs...er, slimes lie and choose our path elsewhere." says Balfa. "I don't fancy a re-match with those...things."

"Maybe we can find something else to hit those things with in another of these nearby buildings. I'd hate for my sword to have gone to waste for nothing."
