Castinus, hearing the sound of the giant's club against the halfling's groin, snaps out of his cowardice, then fires at the giant on the left with yet another pair of arrows.

Dieter calls forth lightning and it arcs from his hands to hit the ogres! save vs spells x 3 [1d20] = 16 [1d20] = 2 [1d20] = 4 lightning damage [8d6] = 27 [8d6] = 29 [8d6] = 24 One ogre survives the electrocution.

Further his Black Tentacles continue to batter the right giant. dmg [3d6] = 5 forgot to roll damage last time dmg [3d6] = 15 which finishes off the giant!
Castinus fires away Castinus bow of doubling [1d20+3] = 18+3 = 21, [1d20+3] = 20+3 = 23 dmg [1d8] = 2 and Max Damage!
Grimes goes nuts Grimes Wave attack [1d20+5] = 12+5 = 17 Wave dmg [1d10+3] = 5+3 = 8
Dandy slams Whelm Dandy Whelm smash [1d20+6] = 14+6 = 20 Whelm dmg [1d8+5] = 3+5 = 8 and the giant falls with a huge kaboom.
Furuk Furuk Scimitar of Vorpal Slicing [1d20+5] = 12+5 = 17 dmg [1d8+5] = 7+5 = 12 ends the final ogre and the battle!

All giant creatures are dead. Acquaire says, Look, a cave!

Investigating the cave you discover that inside they have a crude table and benches, a great skin of beer, bags of miscellaneous food (cheese, dried meat, etc.), six piles of leaves and ratty bedding materials, and an old leather bag which contains 900 ep and 20 pp, 6 base 50 gp gems; a small chest containing 5000 GP; and a wand of polymorph, four +3 arrows, a scroll with two cleric spells (Remove Curse and Cure Disease), and a strange potion.

The tiger, wounded gravely, disappears as the enchantment ends.

Castinus eyes the food greedily. "Why don't we rest here for a while," he suggests. "Who's hungry?" He'll quietly hand Grimes his potion of extra-healing. "To restore your...manly potential, my friend," he says with a wink.

Grimes chuckles as Castinus hands him the potion. "Thanks, but let's see if Dandy can mend me, and we'll save this for when we really need it. I appreciate it. Stupid giants. He's lucky I didn't have more time, I'd have jumped up on him and rode him down the hill like that dragon.... I told ya' about the time I rode the dragon in Skull Mountain, didn't I? Why it was an epic battle..." and he starts to ramble about the fight, eagerly eyeing the beer and food as he does. He pauses long enough to say "Dandy, can ol' Belenus give this humble guy some healin'?

OOC: Depending on time we could camp here or continue, but obviously we need to take their loot.

Grimes helps himself to some food and beer, keeping an eye on the horizon as if he's waiting for some sign of the caverns to materialize. While he's waiting, he takes his sword and beheads all the ogres and giants and lines their severed noggins up at the cave entrance, and writes on the stone in their blood "FLEE, EVIL DOERS, YOU ARE NEXT!"

OOC: Camp or move on? I'm fine either way. If we've got daylight, let's keep moving.
