With a belly full of roasted elk and apples, Brother Knute settles down to a deep slumber.

Okay, a couple of weeks of vacation, heavy workload, and global layoffs of 5500 people (but NOT me this time) I'm rested and ready. Let's go!

Curg motions toward the steaming carcass and says "Eat all you want, I go to sleep now. Curg glad you fix leg. Thanks." And he shuffles to the huge pile of leaves and grass and is promptly asleep, snoring lightly. Before long you all find spots to rest in, and soon most are joining Curg in restful slumber, a cool breeze flowing through the ruins.

The night is uneventful, and you awaken at sunup to the sound of the goats milling about outside munching grass and occasionally bleating to see if anyone brings them food. Curg is stoking the fire a bit and nods as he sees you all stirring. You notice that he's packed all his things into a large bedroll and sack that are propped next to his bed area.

Curg stares into the glowing embers of the fire and says "Curg leaving today. I go north. Where you all go?"

OOC: I was doing some housekeeping, and realized that I haven't assigned any XP since starting. All of the party minus Brother Knute - please add 1300 XP. Brother Knute - please add 800 XP.

((OOC: I don't think we had a further plan yet after we got to the ruined keep. Shall we continue north to the caves? We could accompany the Ogre for a while.))

Let's at least have a look in the chapel of this ruined keep.

Kob is willing to follow the others either in clearing their current location or onward to another. Although now that he's had a full night to digest the elk, he's again sort of wondering if young goats are valid food sources...

Kob is sort of a slave to his stomach.

Sharon perks up at the suggestion to check out the chapel.

Rill is fine with staying to finish the investigation, starting with the chapel.
