Grimes - FIghter

Grimes tosses the gems down, muttering a string of terrible obscenities.... for the moment, he's to preoccupied to focus on another globe... at least for a few moments.

Dieter - Mage

Dieter will make sure he is not under any globes. Be a good place to put one of those green slime things. He will mutter to no one in particular.

So there are eight more globes. Smash another one open? Starve or suffocate in the room?

Dandy, Dwarf Cleric

Dandy will pray to Belenus and hopefully will find out if smashing globe #3 will bring good or bad fortune.

OOC: Augury. If we're here for a while maybe this can help.

When Dandy destroys the globe a silver, stoppered vial hits the ground as well as a key.

Dandy, Dwarf Cleric

Dandy will see if the key fits the lock.

OOC: I had intended to cast the Augury spell first, before smashing the globe. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

The key does not fit the lock.

The vial has runes on it -- an ancient script of Dwarvish that roughly transliterates to bridle dragon. Dandy INT check [1d20] = 10 Dandy can't figure out what that means.

There are seven globes left: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9

Actions?

OOC: My bad. Does Dandy still wish to cast Augury? And if so, with trying which globe?

Dandy puzzles over the vial for a moment, then hands it to Deiter. "I canna read this gibberish," he mutters.

OOC: Yes, Dandy will cast Augury with the intent to smash globe #9.

Dandy prays to his god, asking for clarity of the future (secret roll). The dwarf closes his eyes and allows the spirit of Belenus to wash over him. Finally he snaps to, and feels certain that smashing that globe will mean certain death for all.

Will the augury spell allow Dandy to gain any more information on other globes? If not, or if so and he gets no bad vibes, Castinus will smash globe #1, and then he'll step back and let someone else have some fun with the globes.
