Day 14, Moldain, Thaumont 14th, Viper goblin (Jaggadash) lair, late morning, Turn 3

Tret opens the door, revealing yet another filthy chamber. Cooking and mending implements, along with crude toys, litter the room, much of it covered with a fresh layer of soot. You can smell the smoke from last night's fire more strongly than before.

Tret enters the room warily. He heads over to the far door to the west and listens. I have a sneaking suspicion that this place cleared out with the fire.

Athelstan nods at Tret's assessment. "I think you are right. The ranks of these things appears to have been depleted before we arrived, and I think we've quite possibly seen the last of them. We must keep our guard up though. I don't recall seeing any women or children, and I'd assume some of them would be here."

Athelstan is all for searching, but recommends picking up the pace and getting moving.
