Kevin and his identical twin brother, Kaleb, were inseparable growing up. Both played football in high school and college, Kevin on offense and Kaleb on defense. Possessions in LA: Whiplash has a primer grey 1969 2 door Chevy Nova waiting for him at the airport. It's not crazy-fast, but it's loud and fits his style. The back seat has some discarded ladies underwear and clothing, and about a dozen empty Jack Daniels bottles rolling about inside it. The stereo is missing (compliments of some local hooligans) but it is well maintained and runs well despite it's appearance.

Whiplash is the stereotypical 80's hair band lead singer. He is overly fond of women, whiskey, and the "up all night, sleep all day" lifestyle. He parties too hard, chases too many women, and never backs down from a scuffle. His lifestyle and lack of common sense sometimes make him seem inhumanly resilient or brave to others, but he is generally not wise enough to question odd things or back down from a bad situation (and he uses all those studded accoutrements to great affect). Deep down, he's reasonably talented and smart, but usually tries to keep up his rockstar act to impress others. He had a falling out with his bandmates, and he is currently unemployed (or as he likes to say - he went solo.) He took his savings of over $20K and went for a wild week in Hawaii which is all a blur to him now. He is coming home with $1K left, and no place to go. He's not sure what's coming next, but is looking for his next big gig - whatever it may be.

Background:
Born in Belfast and raised in one of the more violent neighborhoods, it's not surprising that young Tommy quickly got caught up in the IRA. Advancing from lookout at age 7 to getaway driver at age 13, Tommy managed to avoid official notice (and notice by the Prods) until he started making bombs at age 20, using skills acquired in school where he studied chemistry and electronics (but never managed to graduate). During a violent police raid one night Tommy grabbed up a gun and shot two policemen dead, and his career seemed to spiral further out of control after that, until the night his mother and father were forced off the road and their car riddled with bullets in retaliation for one of his bombs. Tommy turned his back on the movement and has been running (under a variety of aliases) from IRA, police and Prods ever since.
