Effric raises his hand and speaks the words of power. A mist rises about him, enough to confuse the owl bear. A toss of rations further distracts the beast.

The distraction is enough and the party quickly and quietly filter through to the other side of the triangular room. The hallway beyond is open and, barreling around the corner, right at you is a Troll carrying a 12' long fauchard-fork. Apparently the owl bear's keeper, he spots you and yells something in Trollish. Something not so nice, you'd guess.

You hear clanking of chains, and a squak! Then through the mist the troll and owl bear come to owl bear down on the party!
