Kob Neutral
Hgt: 6'8"
Wgt: 340 lb

Human Fighter
Lvl: 1
HP: 11/11
AC: 4 (3)

STR: 18 (+3)
DEX: 15 (+1)
CON: 16 (+2)
INT: 7
WIS: 9
CHA: 11

Gear
2-Handed Sword 1d10+3
Banded Armor
2 water bags
1 week iron rations
2 torches (and a stub)
Flint and steel
1 flask oosquai
Bedroll
Leather backpack

Money: 12sp, 4cp

EXP: (+10%)

Background:
Kob was once a promising (and intimidating) young soldier from one of the barbarian lands, recruited (kidnapped) during a raid by one of the kingdom armies. His career flourished until sometime about two years ago, when a freak accident involving repeated kicks to the head by a rampaging warhorse (the owner of the horse, one of Kob's main rivals, denies any responsibility for the attack), which produced a profound transformation on the young soldier. Mentally, well, he was never the brightest, but now his short term memory is all but non-existent, and while he is clever enough to solve simple tactical challenges, anything beyond that is, well, beyond him. All his muscle memory (battle training reflexes) and brute strength remains, and if anything his mental decapitation seems to have turned all the remaining resources of his being into a late-age growth spurt and almost doubling of his brute vitality. Fiercely loyal to those who show him genuine friendship (he follows them around like a VERY large puppy looking to help), he can be terrifying to anyone he perceives to be a "Bad man". Only the simple beaming smile on his face redeems him socially, as most people find it hard to resist smiling back when he grins at them. Especially when they see how huge he is, and understand the risks of being deemed a "Bad man".

Hi BA, I am having difficulty downloading the LL core rules. Sorry that my character is not complete. Also Goblinoid site states that I have to be a more active user before it allows me to PM you.

Human Cleric of Heimdall
Birger Torvaldson (black hair and beard well trimmed and neat, dark eyes, average height, pale skin; will add image when I find one)
Str 12
Dex 8
Con 10
Int 10
Wis 14
Chr 10
Mostly average human stats. Not sure where to add the +2 points for being human, without access to the LL core rules. Open to suggestions.

Plan to purchase best armor and shield available. Will likely take flail or mace as main weapon. What would be starting money to purchase equipment?

Birger Torvaldson is a newly minted warrior cleric of Heimdall. On the voyage to New Gornia he attempted to be courteous to everyone he interacted with, and tried to diffuse some of the teasing that might have sent Kob into a "bad man" fit. Birger willing talks about the Abby/Monastery where he trained and took his vows, but does not divulge anything about his life before then. Birger studied at the Abby/Monastery what passes for military engineering in the seven kingdoms; castles and fortifications, siege engines, catapults and ballista (to prove his knowledge he had to build a working trebuchet). Birger seems to be a calm man, devoted to his calling as a warrior cleric, and mostly humble and courteous in his dealings with others. Do not let Birger cook, as he can boil water and throw things into the pot; that is about the extent of his cooking ability. Perhaps because of this Birger is rather fond of well cooked meals.

Sharon arrived at Rynd Hold by ship about a month ago. Since then, she's been working as an apprentice baker, slowly making friends with the local guardsmen--a hungry lot--and contacts with the thieves' guild. Between her meager wages and a little thieving, she's saved up enough coin to buy some proper equipment and head inland seeking adventure. Her skill with a bow, plus her fondness for strong spirits, have earned her the nickname Sharon the Shot.

Brother Knute, Novitiate of Frey

Human Cleric, Lawful 1st Level, Deity-Frey, Sun God
Hp 6 AC 8

Str 9
Int 11
Wis 14 +1 vs magic saves
Dex 13 -1 ac, +1 missiles, +1 inititative
Con 9
Chr 12

Quarterstaff, Sling, 10 Stones, wooden holy symbol
Backpack, Candles (10), flint and steel, oil (6), parchment (5), ink, quill, torches (6), wine skin, wine (2pt), holy water (3)

Spells: Light

4 healing poultices (heals 1-3 hp each use)

Knute is late in choosing his career as cleric. Born the son of a minor temple bureaucrat, Knute embarked on a career of teaching. Dissatisfied with increasing demands from the nobility and mounting pressure to implement changes to curriculum, Knute put down his tuna salad sandwich and entered the Temple of Frey where he spent six unhappy years teaching the novices grammar. A call for clerics in the northlands and the retirement of the aged Prelate due to complications of gout, prompted Brother Knute to pack a bag and make a pilgrimage to the Keep on the Borderlands.
