INITIATIVE baddies [1d6] = 6 party [1d6] = 5

Romag gets a spell off this time. His curse cancels out Calmert's blessing.
The leader (still stunned) tries to un-woozy himself.
Three arrows are shot [1d20] = 11 [1d20] = 8 [1d20] = 9 all to no effect.

Thurwin fires a magic blast Thurwin energy bolt [1d20] = 1 fumble [1d20] = 14 Like a turtle on its back, you slip and land upside down, ailing about and unable to right yourself. You must ght from a prone position for the next round before you can recover your balance and rise. Facepalm.
Calthas fires an arrow Calthas bow [1d20+2] = 20+2 = 22 CRIT [1d20] = 14 Devastating strike to back of head. Inflict +1d8 damage with this strike, and the foe must make a Fort save (DC 10 + PC level) or fall unconscious. (Ignore the DCC-specific stuff). dmg [1d8] = 3 + [1d8] = 8 The archer falls like a stone, dead like a stone.
Caydon also arrows Caydon ranged attack [1d20+2] = 5+2 = 7 and is so amazed at the fumble and critical hit that his aim is thrown.
Morgan swings his mighty sword Morgan sword [1d20+3] = 15+3 = 18 dmg [2d4+3] = 5+3 = 8 and the leader falls dead.
Effric holds, his foe dead
Calmert holds, his foe dead
Tavin sits in darkness like a goth listening to Robert Smith of The Cure.

Weeds enchanted still entangle the cleric and archers, one of whom is completely unable to move and anther is stone dead. Romag the cleric and two archer remain.

OOC: Sorry, I was out at a library convention for the weekend. Actually met one of you for dinner and conversation. Great time! If you're asking yourself, "Was it me?" and you don't remember meeting me for dinner than it was likely someone else. :)

Thurwin - Wizard

Thurwin, red faced, groans loudly and starts to pull himself to his feet.

OOC: Yikes. Melee is not this guy's forte.

Nodding his head to Skinny Puppy's Assimilate tune Tavin remains in place.

Wondering when his enemies will start to flee, Calthas aims and shoots at another archer.

Morgan turns his attention, and sword, to the evil cleric. He neither gives nor asks for quarter.

INITIATIVE baddies [1d6] = 4 party [1d6] = 6

Thurwin and Tavin do nothing. Well, Tavin whistles in the dark...
Effric flings a stone Effric sling [1d20] = 19 nailing Romag dmg [1d6] = 3.
Calthas fires his bow Calthas [1d20+2] = 17+2 = 19 dmg [1d8] = 5 and Romag drops.

morale [2d6] = 7 The other three, seeing both the commander and the cleric dead, drop their bows and surrender.

Thurwin - Wizard

Once on his feet, Thurwin says to Morgan and the others "Be careful, I'm going to check on Darryl and Toto, although I fear it is too late for them."

Thurwin will go to Darryl and then Toto, in that order, to see if they are in fact dead. If there is any chance of saving them, he'll call for Calmert's assistance. If there is nothing to be done, he'll leave them for now to join the others as they deal with the prisoners.

edit: Morgan advances on the three cultists who have surrendered. "Down on your knees, hands over your heads," he barks. "Answer truthfully, and your justice will be swift. Answer false, and you shall live long enough to regret your crooked tongues."

The paladin continues. "Tell me of your numbers. How many more of there are you?"

OC: Morgan could go either good cop or bad cop on this one. Jump in on whatever side you want.

Wheeling back, he yells, "By the Hand of Heironeous, this isn't over!" He then joins his brother, and possible Calmert, in checking on Darryl. And Toto too.

I don't think the three who surrendered are fleeing, I think they dropped bows and stayed in place.
