Tavin - Monk

While heading to the Inn with Effric: My hope is we don't encounter something that requires use of these silver weapons, but best to be prepared. He will say with a shrug.

You return to the Inn of the Welcome Wench, which is much more sedate than any other time you've spent there. The meal is hearty but there is no joy in it. Your rooms, service, and drink are on the house.

Actions?

Thurwin - Wizard

Thurwin returns to the inn, with thoughts of his brother on his mind. He sits alone at a corner table eating a modest meal and sipping some ale. As the others return from shopping, he joins them to see what the next step is in our plan. "Well, we seem to have a vague idea of where this temple is, do we go in search of it, or go to Nulb to learn more about this agent of evil within the place? I wouldn't mind checking to see if anyone has seen my brother there, but no matter what we decide, the temple merits investigation - even my brother would say that."

After taking a large drag of ale and wheezing as it goes down, Thurwin grimaces, shakes his head and smiles saying "What do you think, fellas? We've done well thus far, so woe to the baddies who'd oppose us."

In his down time, Thurwin will scribe the scroll contents to his spell book (is that possible here? If I need help, I can ask Burne possibly. Does anyone have an accounting of the total treasure? All I know is I was carrying the wizard scroll, and a silver baton worth 30GP that we found on the upper level of the moathouse.

Tavin will chat over his meal and some tea. I agree, the temple will cause more stress if not balanced out.

OCC: No idea on the treasure! Weird to play a character that does not really care about the loot.

"The temple will probably be an entirely different story compared to the Moat House. What would be our objective going in there? We certainly are not going to wipe it out in a few days..." says Calthas, concerned.

Father Redmond sits at the table pensively.
"Our actions have pleased Zagyg up to now. So I must assume that continuing the same course of action will please him. I guess my pilgrimage to the city of Greyhawk will have to wait for a later date. And in any case, what would young Calthas do without me? I know the kid pretty much sees me as a mentor, role model and fatherly figure."

The night in the Inn of the Welcome Wench goes well.

Thurwin separates himself from the rest, spending hours transcribing spells. When he finishes, without need to Burne or anyone else, it is deeply into the early morning, his hand aches, and he is parched. He beds and sleeps late into the next day.

The rest of the party enjoys the evening: the free drinks and food.

Looking at Thurwin: Perhaps we do check in on your brothers whereabouts in Nulb... one only has one family.

Effric, Druid

"Agreed, let's go to Nulb forthwith."

Effric packs his backpack and prepares for the journey.
