Castinus looks about in confusion at his friends, but, sensing their urgency, fumbles for the gloves, then puts them on. Then he'll grab the object on the pedestal.

Castinus pulls on the gloves. They fit like second skin. He reaches towards the empty pillow at the top of the pedestal, grabbing. He feels an object, egg shaped and hard, which he holds in his hand. He can feel it but not see it -- it is yet invisible to him. That said, he has a tight grip on the object in question. The pillow goes back to it's shape as if the weight that had been bearing upon it has been lifted.

Dandy still babbles, feebleminded.

Furuk supports the one-eyed Dieter. The open wound in the wizard's face gapes but does not bleed nor hurt anymore.

Shae and Grimes look on.

The Preposito sits on his throne, the husks that were Theo and Karl lie at his feet. I was waiting for you to return. You cannot leave this pyramid, you know, and dying in here is much better than of thirst or hunger in the other rooms.

The clash of Chaos and Law in the windows behind him cast an eerie light on the room. It is like a seascape of stars, crashing and colliding like breaking waves on a stormy sea. The Preposito stands. Now to end thi... wait. His face shifts from utter confidence to something less...

A wicked smile crosses his face. Finally, after aeons of battle, a fair fight.
