Google+

Postby capheind » Sun Jul 31, 2011 4:26 am

In a recent series of posts Zak, of D&D with Porn Stars, has been organizing, and encouraging the organization of, gaming over Google plus. Having tried Google plus' Hangout feature I can say that its actually pretty handy for gaming, provided all players have a connection stable enough for video chat it provides about as close to a face-to-face game as can be managed when the real thing isn't available. Anyone here using Google plus to game? interested in doing so?

This is an interesting idea. I must consider it.

I've been following the progress of ConstantCon (Zak's Google+ gaming endeavor) and I am pretty impressed by the feedback I've been reading. I would definitely be interested, but so far my lack of a webcam has kept me form spontaneously joining a session.

I've used G+ for some gaming, and I really like it. The first couple times, I had some spotty connection issues. Lately things seem to be running smoothly, though. If you want to circle me, I'm on there as Robert Morris. Look for the little dog as my avatar.
