Leon again attempts to slam his dagger home against the creature, hoping that this time one of those magical copies the elf uses gets punched....

"I see some decent loot here! This could well be worth our trouble!"

Egbert

Not having any strategy against the giant slab of meat, attacks the statue!! Any part of stone, wood, or "mud" he can chip away, that's what he does!!!

**The idea is to get the "meat-giant's" attention, dodging his bigarse around the statue, but getting his attention none-the-less, so that his companions (that CAN hurt him) can hit him from behind!!
SUCCESSFUL "TRADES" with: tumblingdice x2, Blood axe, and Kipper! ~ thanks to all of you! :D

Immalor, Elf

Still with belief that he may be able to hurt this creature, Immalor continues to hack away with his axe.

The melee continues in the apse of the black stone Fane

Initiative roll, party 5, monster 2, the party wins initiative

Spells:
Zavenorrin twiddles his fingers and utters arcane words, a blast of energy springs forth from his hand hitting the flesh creature, the missles strike the creature but seem to have no effect!
Melee:
Balfa gets in a defensive posture shouting at his foe
Leon strikes out with his magic dagger, atk roll 12+2=14 hits! for 2+2=4 damage
Egbert picks up a clump of rotted wood and swings it at the creature
Immalor swings with his ax, atk roll 9+1=10 hits!, but causes no effect
Turin attempts a mace blow, atk roll 20 hits!, for 5+2=7 damage, the beast staggers a bit but fights on!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
It lashes out in frustration at
Balfa this time
Atk rolls, 15, 9, one fist pummels him for 4+5=9 dmg

Next I will roll round 3 init. The construct is badly battered but standing, What are your round 3 actions?

Let the red dawn surmise
What we shall do,
When this blue starlight dies
And all is through.

Emboldened by his success thus far, Leon just keeps stabbing away!

Bewildered by his lack of useful means to help his companions, Zavenorrin attempts to turn wide around the creature, near the position where Leon crept before backstabbing it. There he looks around, hoping to find anything useful in the mess of debris and gems scattered there.

Undaunted by the fact his strategy worked only too well Balfa continues to attempt to call the creature's attention while maintaining a defensive posture. Hopefully those of his companions that can hurt the creature will cast it down soon...

Eggi wants to attack the statue (any clump of stone, wood, or clay) hoping to get the 'enemy's' attention.
