With deafening ferocity, Renardius smashes the casket with Smiter. Wood splinters, and something shatters.

Uh oh.

Carefully pulling away the splinters of wood, you find approximately 50 platinum coins. Those of you with Thyatian ancestry recognize the face of Gabrionius V on the obverse of the coins. Up until forty years ago, he was the emperor of neighboring Thyatis. How such valuable coins came into possession of the Viper goblins is anyone's guess.

The coins are soaked in viscous liquid, at turns green and brown, easily attributable to two broken ceramic flasks. A third flask, now sticky with liquid as well, appears to have survived the clerical onslaught.

Actions?

Tret, rogue

Tret looks at the coins with dismay. I suppose we could wash em in the stream outside to get off that... stuff.

Athelstan - Fighter

Looks at the shattered presumed potions and shakes his head. "Our luck seems to be as such tonight. Oh well."

So, the door's been spiked, the casket opened. Athelstan will be sleeping near the cave entrance (watch out for the pit). It's somewhere between 3 and 4 in the morning, and you're all exhausted. Harn, having languished in a prison cell up until about two hours ago, has the most energy.

Do you want to play around with the coins and the potions now, or wait until morning?

Harn Hammerhand

Harn will volunteer to take first watch and a longer watch, so the others can rest more.

Tret, rogue

Tret thanks Harn for taking the watch and is happy to be sleeping under his own terms. Wake me when it's time for my watch. He keeps his dagger in hand as he sleeps, one eye open...

Soldath will hit the books, he'll keep an eye on the door that's spiked.
