Balfa keeps on swinging...his ax, that is. In the general direction of the nearest amphibian.

Without further adieu, here is round 3 versus the Giant Yellow Toads..

Initiative rolls, party 1, monsters 3. The toads again win initiative

Unable to resist, Zavenorrin is pulled back 15' towards a Giant Toad(#3) when it retracts it's sticky gross tongue. It will start biting/feeding next round.
Toad #1 (injured from Leon's atk) bites at Leon, atk roll 6 misses
Toad#4 attempts to bite Immalor, atk roll 13, misses his AC2
Toad# 5 attempts to bite Egbert, atk roll 17 hits!, for 3 dmg
Toad# 6 attempts to bite Turin, atk roll 15, misses AC1
Toad# 7 is still back 15' near the one getting ready to munch on Zavenorrin, it launches it's tongue at Balfa, atk roll 8 misses
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Party's attacks:
Immalor, atk roll 13 hits!, for 4+1=5 dmg to toad#4
Balfa, atk roll 17 hits!, for 7 dmg to toad#5
Turin, atk roll 2 misses
Leon, atk rolls 16,4, hits with L sword, for 6 dmg to previously injured toad#1 killing it!
Egbert, atk roll 1, slips in the muck, but recovers

Thats the end of round 3, There are still 5 active Toads, (#4,#5 are injured). Zavenorrin continues to be paralyzed for an unknown period.
What are your round 4 actions? As I will roll round 4 Init next

Immalor, Elf

With a quick maneuver spinning away from the current toad, Immalor attempts to engage the toad that has his companion Zavenorrin at its mercy. He hopes it will turn its attention to the keen bladed axe coming its way...

Balfa mumbles curses as he swipes at the beast again. The accursed toad is proving quite resilient to the kisses of his ax.

Eggi

"BAH!! You stupid, slimy-gut, toad!! I'll be fer given ye me boot!!" Eggi either wants to put the toad out of commission, or kill it all together... and hopes he is not sidetracked by the companion "sucked back" into the other toad's mouth!

Zavenorrin, despite his paralysis, feels anguish trickle on his spine. How he wishes he could at least close his eyes!

Versus the Giant Yellow Toad creatures, Round 4

Behind the black Temple in the swampy underbrush

Inititaive rolls, party 6, monsters 1
The party wins Init and will be 1st to act

Zavenorrin looks on in horror!
Immalor in an act of bravery leaves his current melee opponent, who takes a bite at him, roll 14 misses AC2, jogs over to the Toad on Zavenorrin and swings his ax, atk roll 1, misses badly as he slips on the way
Leon, does the double stab on Toad 5 who is already oozing from a wound. Atk rolls 13,15, both hit! Damage, 7+3(+2) = 12 damage, slashing into it's throat with two blades he kills the beast!
Turin swings his magical mace, atk roll 13 hits!, for 4+2=6 dmg to Toad6, you hear the crack of bones
Balfa swings with his ax vs Toad6, atk roll 8 misses
Egbert also attacks Toad 6, atk roll 12 hits!, for 7+2=9 damage, plunging his long sword to it's hilt into the beast, it drops dead
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The remaining Toads bite at you
Toad 3 automatically hits Zavenorrin (paralyzed), and bites into his leg for 5 damage
Toad 4 , who was on Immalor, shoots it's tongue at Turin, atk roll 3 misses
Toad 7 bites at Balfa, atk roll 12, misses AC4

That's the end of round 4, there are still 3 Toads active, 4 other Toads slumber uneasily near the melee. Zavenorrin feels a tingling sensation in his body as the Toad's paralyzing gummy saliva begins to dissapate. He can act next round as normal.

What are your round 5 actions? I will roll round 5 init next

Let the red dawn surmise
What we shall do,
When this blue starlight dies
And all is through.

Eggbert

Eggi will attack/charge the next nearest target - OR - will go to the aid of one of his companions if it appears they do not have the upper hand in their melee.
