2016 is almost over folks. Will it go quietly?

I can safely say that 2016 has not been a good year, especially in the field of entertainment (I'm avoiding politics just be safe). I haven't taken the time to count them all up, which would either be a sign or cause of insanity, but I have taken note the sheer volume of celebrity deaths this year. Here are a handful celebrity deaths I've taken special notice of.

David Bowie: January 8th, 1947 - January 10th, 2016
Alan Rickman: February 21st, 1946 - January 14th, 2016
Harper Lee: April 28th, 1926 – February 19th, 2016
Frank Kelly: December 28th, 1938 – February 28th, 2016
Prince: June 7th, 1958 - April 21st, 2016
Muhammad Ali: January 17th, 1942 - June 3rd, 2016
Anton Yelchin: March 11th, 1989 - June 19th, 2016
Kenny Baker: August 24th, 1934 - August 13th, 2016
Gene Wilder: June 11th, 1933 - August 29th, 2016
Ron Glass: July 10th, 1945 - July 25th, 2016
Robert Vaughn: November 22nd, 1932 - November 11th, 2016
Peter Vaughn: April 4th, 1923 - December 6th, 2016
John Glenn: July 18th, 1921 – December 8th, 2016
Zsa Zsa Gabor: February 6th, 1917 - December 18, 2016
George Michael (Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou): June 25th, 1963 - December 25th, 2016
Richard Adams: May 9th, 1920 - December 27th, 2016
Carrie Fisher: October 21st, 1956 - December 27th, 2016 followed by her mother Debbie Reynolds
Debbie Reynolds: April 1st, 1932 - December 28th, 2016

18, not even half of the celebrities that died this year, just the ones I really noticed. Sadly, the year's not over yet, we have a few more days to go. I think George R.R. Martin's view on this year is pretty spot on and reflects my sentiment exactly.
