Caydon - Rogue
As the party prepares to head north, Caydon raises an eyebrow. The rogue spins his beloved crowbar between his fingers as he first moves to the southern bunks. If the bunks have mattresses, he will rap his crowbar on both sides, almost as if he were playing a drum. He listens closely for any clinking or jingling or other signs that some type of loot has been secreted within. Then he repeats the process on any mattresses on the northern cots. If he finds anything worthwhile he will collect it and then join the others as they move out. If there is nothing to be found, he will say, "never hurts to check."

CALMERT: Cleric

The little Gnome assists Caydon - following suit - by rapping his mace on the mattresses of the bunks.

OOC: If no one is taking the paper with the note (in common) written on it, then Calmert will shove it into his pocket ~ might come in handy later.

Caydon and Calmert check mattresses. They find dead bugs, a bit of string, and a coin which looks gold at first but the paint flecks off the pewter almost immediately.

The group heads up the slanting passage, which they can tell is slanting even without OD&D dwarves in tow.

The corridor heads northeast until the passage takes a sudden and sharp turn south.

Thurwin - Wizard

Thurwin shrugs and says "Well, that didn't go the way I thought it might. What do you say, men? Go south? Or turn back and find another way?

OOC: I'm fine either way. We could just proceed and clear it.

Calthas says: "I don't like to leave areas unexplored. We should go back."

Caydon - Rogue
"So, it sounds like we're turning back," Caydon smiles.

So the party heads back...

Image

It appears you have a few options.

A is unexplored
B is the blocked (and warped wood) door you can try to bust open
C is the lower area of room 130 which you recently explored
D is a new hallway going south
E heads back the way you came even more
F heads back to the area where you charmed Toto the gnoll.

Thurwin - Wizard

Thurwin says quietly "Well, we could go back and let Caydon have a listen at the door (AREA B, the WARPED DOOR) and then if we hear nothing, bust through and see what's there. With luck they've bugged out too."
