Anomalous Subsurface Environment

Postby Pat » Thu Dec 16, 2010 3:25 am

I've got a Labyrinth Lord megadungeon campaign I'm running, I've drawn maps for the "gatehouse" level, 1st level, and 2nd level, and converted the "gatehouse" and 1st level into Campaign Cartographer 2.

Photobucket shrinks the size of files, so some detail gets scrunched up when I upload. CC2 also has a bug where when you save as a JPG, some of the diagonal lines get "jaggies". They don't show up when you print.

Normally I'm not a fan of computerized maps, but the format you are using in CC2 looks sharp and still maintains the old-school awesome. I can't wait to see level 2 digitized.

Nice maps Pat!! They're awesome. I like your avatar too.

Are you ever going to start a LL game here on these forums? I'm always looking for new LL games/campaigns.

I barely have enough time to run the game I'm DM'ing now, a forum game would probably break me.

Here's level 2 in CC2. Split into two images, otherwise no detail comes thru when Photobucket shrinks it:

I finally got around to converting the level 3 map into CC2 format. The full level is a big illegible due to its size, so I've broken the map into smaller chunks as well. I still need to do some work to make the underground lake more interesting.

Pat,

AWESOME maps!! :D

I have CC2 (laying around here somewhere); what operating system are you running - WindowsXP, Windows7, ____ ?

I've wondered how it would run on a later OS.
