Effric, now refreshed, meditates for his available 2nd level spell.

The dinner Zagyg provided was tasty, if not normal. It seemed to be greasy bits of chicken cooked in a way you'd never had before. A white paste with brown sauce, some kind of tangy salad, rice, and cold, effervescent drinks you've never experienced before completed the meal. The script on the side of the containers is in a foreign language, nothing at all like common.



The next morning the feast leftovers are cold and yet still amazingly tasty. The drink has lost it's fizz, however.

Everyone is rested. Back to the same spot or elsewhere below the Temple?

Trying to maintain his usual diet he will eat a lot of the tangy salad and rice. Once everyone appears to have eaten in the morning: I am ready to descend, again. He will say limbering up.

Thurwin compliments Father Redmond on his feast. "Good father, you are certainly in favor with Zagyg. This meal was quite tasty. Although I am curious as to whom the goateed gentleman on this odd container is. Perhaps a priest of great power and renown? At any rate, let's proceed!"

The party heads back into the Temple. Meeting no resistance they return to the blackened corpses of the ghouls.



You come to a branch north: a double width passage. This passage is evidently one of importance, for it is plastered and painted with the evil scenes typical of the Temple.

Morgan licks every last drop of gravy from the--I hope--Styrofoam dish. He also marvels at the utensil that is part spoon, part trident. The next morning he visits the little paladin's room in the nearby woods.

But it was worth it.

Back in the temple, Morgan says, "Let's head North lads, shall we?"

"@#%^," Caydon curses. "I'm having trouble holding on to anything! It's the grease from that meal last night!" In desperation he wipes his hands on his cloak."Arrrgh, it won't come off..." he says before sticking his finger in his mouth, trying to scrape the lard off with his teeth. "But you know...I must admit...it is finger lickin' good!"

Calthas nods at Morgan on his suggestion to go north.

Father Redmond belches loudly as he says "Praised be *BURP* Zagyg... Oh my, better be more careful lest I alarm some fiends of our presence."

OOC: As they go, FR will cast CLW on himself since he forgot to do it before going to bed.
OOC: Because of the grease on their fingers, does everyone have an increase chance of dropping their weapon?

Effric is glad he is vegan as he watches his cohorts fight off the effects of the 'feast'.
