Please stat up this sea critter.

This dog-like aquatic mamal is in posession of hydrokenetic powers including the ability to part large bodies of water, create 50 ft. tall waves and spray water from its mouth with the same pressure as a high-powered water cannon. They also possess near human intelligence and can remember past attackers and learn from each others experience. At the same time these beasts are generally non-aggressive towards humanoid (as in human-like form, not as in goblinoid) creatures. So the question is this, how would you attempt to translate this creature into B/X D&D or other old school roleplaying game terms and what name would you give it?

Thank you kinghtvision, this looks like a good starting base for the waterfox. Maybe I'll ask for help with some of it's cousins, like this one.

They have roughly the same alignment and tempermant towards humanoid life as their aquatic relatives. By the way, like the grizzly snake these monsters aren't original creations of mine. Just to let you know
