OSR Shopping Run at LuLu, lend me your awesomeness!

Postby Dyson Logos » Sun Dec 23, 2012 6:44 am

So, once the first set of moneys come in from the sale of Dyson's Delves over on LuLu, I'll have enough put aside not only for my internet connectivity via the hardcover release, but I'll also have a couple of hundred sitting there from the softcover release. So instead of just pocketing that money and running amok, I figured I should toss some of this filthy lucre to the other OSR authors out there... Also, I need to order a small batch (5-10) of Dyson's Delves, so I might as well throw in some other books to save on shipping with one big order (because shipping this crap in Canadia is stupid expensive).

So far my shopping list is:

So, I'm choosing to avoid megadungeons (because I have enough of my own), individual adventures / modules (again, I have all the ones I write, and the ones I've listed above I have ulterior reasons to purchase), and Retro RPGs that involve multiple volumes (I like my RPGs being single books).

So, what else should I add to my cart, and more importantly, why?

I gotta say, I find the lack of Mutant Future on your list disturbing!

I hate to say this, but my Gamma World of choice these days is the Dungeons & Dragons Gamma World... I'm a heathen, I know.

Get Realms of Crawling Chaos. It's effing excellent. The expanded Lovecraftian bestiary, psionics rules, and random freakish magical item generation make it worth its weight in gold. It's not given nearly enough love.
