Sadly, the old forums are no longer online. I wasn't around when they were running, but I still liked to peruse the old threads now and again for gems. Anyway, good news - it seems the Internet Archive managed to get a lot of what was there:

The people who hosted those forums would never respond to me and would never allow backups (was sort of a scam IMHO), so to take control of the forums I had to move them. Sucks but I had a feeling this would happen someday.
