I was wondering that myself.

The Underwater series is awesome, one of my absolute favorites, but when we went through them at the table it took us well over a year gaming once a week for 8 to 10 hours at a shot. That would be a whole lot of play by post.

Just to throw my two cents in. B-9 Castle Caldwell and Beyond works really well as a PBP module. Five very short adventures. It just needs a base of operations to make a campaign out of it. The castle is pretty contrived but nothing a little prep time in the front can't clean up.

The underwater series crossed my mind, but you're right: that would be a whole lot of play-by-post. I'd probably miss my son's graduation, and I don't have any children yet! :D

Thanks, everyone, so far for sharing your suggestions. I may have delusions of grandeur, but the adventures I'd really be interested in running are:

B10 - Night's Dark Terror
The desert nomad trilogy: X4 - Master of the Desert Nomads, X5 - Temple of Death, and X10 - Red Arrow, Black Shield

Anybody have any experience with those?

Nope. I was hoping that The Sarcophagus Legion would lead to X4 and X5. If you're going to start fresh, might I request B10? :)
