A Hello

Hi guys,

SmokestackJones here. AKA DM Glen. Thought I'd make myself known. You folks have a nice board here. As for LL, great stuff. My Basic game is locked into Rules Cyclopedia D&D but our DM uses LL's monsters and treasures and I run some LL for my grandson at home.

Anyway, I'm 55, been playing since around 1980. Started with 1E and Gamma World, went through 2E, Champions/HERO, WFRP, CoC, AD&D3/3.5 and others, now just discovering the Joy of Basic D&D. Oh yeah, I also a regular on the Save or Die Basic D&D podcast and host the THAC0's Hammer 2E podcast (BTW, Save or Die will be reviewing LL soon). I'm also an artist who did a few illustrations for gaming books/modules and just opened a DeviantArt gallery (but I'll put that in the Art forum).

Welcome! Good to have you hear. You appear to have similar experience to quit a few folks on the board. I think you'll find it homey here.

Running the Stonehell LL sandbox game
Ran the Yendo LL AEC sandbox game (on hiatus....for now)

That'd be great! We're recording this Saturday 10/17. Unfortunately, I'll be missing due to game and family commitments.
