Sorry - that's cool, I'm fine with whatever you negotiate/strongarm out of them. If you could get over 10K, that's just extra. Keep rolling!

Seeing as everyone is in agreement. Pax will agree to whatever the counteroffer is (or the original offer if none is given).
Pax will then journey back over to the jeweler once supplies are cared for a purchase a small but valuable gem.

*Added Chain armor*

If that works, the total coin is something like 83GP per (split 8 ways) and 12PP per (split 8 ways also)

*Added Wealth*

Morgan bids Father Redmond god's speed (deity unspecified), then listens with careful interest as the dwarf negotiates. He tries to look bored, but is in agreement with the 10K.
Get thee to the dungeon. Get thee to the dungeon forthwith. Pass not the barbican. Amass not 200 GP.

3) Battle axe (for Pax)
4) Two Throwing Axes (for Pax)
5) A cart (that Mattie can pull) to help us take our supplies.
6) 100 crossbow bolts.

“We have need of four of those sets of chain armor (x4), long swords(x4), shields(x4) and crossbows (x4). So kindly take those out of what is being offered.”

"10k gold is a fair price… if you include 2k in store credit and accommodate my list.” What can I say neighbors, I’ve no personal desire to travel on much further for a fair price-but I’m certain my compatriots who blead for this wealth may feel differently…”

Rannos Davl grumbles, We don't do store credit. It's coin or walk.

Gremag hold up a hand. Hold on, Rannos. He looks at the dwarf. So I say we give you 9000 for the stuff and we fill your order as a part of that. You get your rations, axes, cart and whatnot and you even withhold the armor and weapons you mention.

We hand you 7000 in coin today and you can consider the rest a "store credit" if you want. We've been here a long time, we'll be here when you get back. I don't know where you're getting this stuff but I got no guarantee you're making it back alive. Otherwise, we give you the whole 9000 and we're square.

Deal?

“Bahh!?!”
Pax’s skin turns the color of red then purple. Through gritted teeth he hisses, “let me consult my Lads…”

OoC: I hate this deal-and so does Pax's dwarven nature. But this wealth is the groups. We have three options.
1) Take the deal at 9k with supplies: the good being we will be supplied we can purchase gems to minimize the weight (at the gem trader) and we will have weapons and armor for our hirelings… 7k and 2k credit doesn’t appeal to Pax-he doesn’t want to deal with these “nice” gentlemen any further-better to be done with it.
2) Bury the bounty somewhere in the forest; and purchase/gather supplies elsewhere.
3) Leave our stuff with the gem trader; and purchase supplies elsewhere (if we can).

Pax is in favor of number 2. Though one is acceptable (yes I changed my mind-just didn't expect such a cheap counteroffer)as to getting this show on the road... But this has more to do with getting us moving back to hacking some evil...

Pax will bend to the will of the group. But I can’t make a deal without consent. And we need to be sure to armor our hirelings-plus crossbows are good to shoot off before a fight closes to hand to hand. These are my thoughts…

Narrative: Pax shoots the elf a look... waiting for the inevitable "eye roll." ( )

OOC: Well, I don't think we need the extra coin at the moment, we probably have enough to handle resupply as-is, so I'm fine with keeping the necklace and ring and jeweled items, and maybe we just pawn any extra armor, weapons etc and then just re-equip here. I doubt this place has a second option for goods. We can carry the gems and jewels.

How does that sound? Give these clowns whatever we don't want and then just take what they give us. I'm sure it won't be entirely fair, but then again we get it off our hands and can get moving again. We can cash in the high $$$ items later somewhere else.

Pax gets upon Mattie-and resists the urge to ride after father Redmond. He cares not.

"I will be at the bar lads-come and get me when you have need of my axe."

Huh? You just said you were leaning toward option 2, so I said what the heck. Arrgh. I just want to keep moving, or Greyarea is going to rename this campaign "Pawning Treasure in Hommlet - the neverending story part 6" or something....
