Oddly enough, my group of regulars decided to incorporate their adventuring group, make the player characters as full owners in the partnership, make the henchman get a half share, and all magic items became community property. The distribution is voted on by the partners at the start of each adventure.
Basically, they were horrified that the BX morale rules give henchmen the chance to leave each adventure, and wanted to ensure they could hang on to magic items if a henchman bailed on a bad morale roll.
