B5 Horror on the Hill - A new pbem/pbp - NOW FULL

Postby Scalydemon » Sun Dec 19, 2010 5:47 pm

Hi, Considering starting a new pbem/pbp game here at the new goblinoidgames forum.

LL/AEC ruleset used with some additional player classses available (Feral Dwarf &Witch Doctor I can provide the rules for these)

3000 exp points to start, roll 4d6 keep best 3 die and arrange in any order. Advanced hit die rules used. Age, height and weight rules used. Roll 3d4x10 for starting gold. Max hit points at 1st level. If the 3000 exp gets you to 2nd lvl roll hit points for level 2, discard any 1 rolled for this. You could roll up your character on your own. 0 hit points is unconscious, -1 hit points is dead.

The campaign setting used will be The Savage Frontier by Paul Jaquays (a northern territory of the Forgotten Realms). The module/adventure will be TSR's B5 Horror on the Hill Image

Looking to start ASAP. Post frequency would be about 3-4x a week. Invisible castle for dice rolls (I would roll and post results).

Please post here or PM me if interested in playing or with any questions..

Thanks!

SCALY!! I'm glad you're here at the new forums! :D

I would love to play in your LL/AEC game. I'm open to playing any class/race/alignment, but if you would allow the 'monk' class - I'd love to play one. Let me know if that's ok - and if you 'tweak' any of the rules regarding monks - and I'll roll it up and post it!

Cheers

Cool - would be good to have you C-sumo. I am going to run the module B5 Horror on the Hill for this, using the Savage Frontier campaign setting. We'll start when we get enough players..
The Monk from AEC works for me.

Awesome! I've never played B5, but I love all of those 80's modules. Wish I never got rid of mine :(

Cool, would be good to have you Blood axe, I believe there is another player Craiger07 that will be joining, possibly playing a Druid - so we are off to a good start.

Another player or 2 would be nice also if anyone else reads this that has an interest..

Besides the classes listed in AEC, I also would allow a Feral Dwarf or Witch Doctor and could supply the class rules if anyone wants to try that route out

Thanks

Please note, I changed the starting exp and starting gold as this is a level 1-3 module. Don't worry too much if you don't start out with much gold/very good equipment as you may be able to acquire equipment and gold through adventuring and return to the outpost/fort you will be based from to upgrade.

Hey Scaly,
Did you edit your first post about the 3k exp, or is that the "old" post? I was going to roll up my Monk tonight and wanted to be sure I wasn't granting myself exp or gold that was more than you had intended.

Hi, the 3000 exp to start and 3d4x10 starting gold is accurate.

Also - bloodymage has joined the group to play a Human Thief

I PMed Dan to post/create the thread for the game itself so hopefully that will happen soon and we will have a place to post characters , communicate etc..

Thanks!

Ok, I went from level 4 to level 2 then! Gotta modify my character.
