Furuk is persuaded by Grimes. He disrobes (less so than the halfling but still waaaaay too much skin for a half-orc to show) and dives in with him.

Grimes STR [1d20] = 20 That 20 would have been better in combat.
Furuk STR check [1d20] = 15

The two of you strain with the wheel but cannot grip it well. You return to the surface before your breath runs out, the wheel unmoved.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes nods at fleshy and says "What about that guy? Maybe he could help us?"

"Fleshy", otherwise known as Number Nine, doesn't hesitate and walks into the pool. He drops like a stone.

Times passes.

The water around your ankles begins to lower.

Time passes some more. (secret roll. dammit!) Nothing comes down the hall to greet you.

The corridor is now clear of water and the little pool begins to dry up too. Eventually you see the flesh golem, Number Nine (or "Fleshy" I suppose) at a wheel and a drain in the wall beneath it. The flesh golem is ankle deep in what is left of the pool, which is about ten feet deep. He climbs back up again.

The hallways are now slimy and damp, but no longer filled with water. The possibility of boot-rot just went down.

Grimes stands dripping and naked, shakes like a dog, smirking at Shae and Castinus and says "There we go. Hey now, don't be staring too long. We've got work to do."

OOC: Does there appear to be anything down near the wheel? Grimes will scale down and examine the area in detail now that the water is gone. If he locates the coin, he'll pocket it to take back up.

Grimes finds the coin in the muck. It takes a good two turns to do so and get back out of the pit. He doesn't find anything else down there.
