Hi all, several people are specially requesting Realms of Crawling Chaos in hard cover format. I have requested a quote so in a few days I'll find out what it would cost me to do a small print run. How many I would print would depend entirely on how many people want one. These are not "limited edition" or anything like that (so I'm not trying to start a buying frenzy!), but they will be in limited supply and probably not reprinted in this format on any regular schedule.

I suspect I will need at least in the ballpark of 25-30 people to commit to buy a copy in order to break even on a run of 50. I have no idea yet what these will need to cost until I get the quote, but an educated guess tells me 27.95 (not counting shipping). I know this is more than other publishers would charge for 64 pages but my units are smaller and higher cost to order. Otherwise it just doesn't justify the cost to print them.

So, if you would buy a copy please just click the poll. If enough people show interest then once I had the quote and if it looked doable i would want to take preorders to make sure people follow through. Understand that once ordered it would take at least 4-6 weeks to print them in all likelihood.

I ordered the paperback from Lulu a few days ago, so I won't be buying a hardcover - but regardless, couldn't you have Lulu take care of the hardcover version instead of springing for a print run?

I voted "no". IMHO, for a supplemental book of that size, soft cover works great for me. Now LL and AEC...i own those bad boys in both soft and hard cover.

So given the interest expressed here, it doesn't look like a print run is in the cards. Did the Lulu option pan out?

I'm eager to buy a print copy and would definitely prefer a hard cover, but if that won't be happening, I'll settle for a soft cover.
