This Week at a Character For Every Game

• Old School Mercenaries is the big item this week - I've started work on an RPG of mercenary action based on the awesomeness of old-school D&D. Expect to see updates over the summer and it should be ready for release in October.
• Return to Urul-Dar - part 2 of our random D&D game! Now with more dwarves wearing random hats!
• d8 Random Dungeon Entrances - I'm tired of the standard dungeon entrances from the 1e DMG, so here's 8 new ones!
• [Map] Mini Dungeon 1 - The naming creativity engine is out of gas, but the mapping continues with this 12-room dungeon.

It's been a week of maps over at Dyson's place.

• Cartographic Wonders - links to two awesome maps you don't want to miss.
• Extreme Dungeon Makeover! - where I remake Rustfoot's awesome typographic One Page Dungeon into a traditional dungeon map.
• Regional Map - The first regional map posted to my blog. For some reason this took over 2 years!?
• Map of the Dutchies of Lake Garr - Regional map from a recent Labyrinth Lord campaign I ran.
• Map of the Lost Islands - A larger regional map of a set of fairly large islands and their environs.

• Challenge of the Frog Idol is the big news for the week. A 20-page digest-sized adventure module (plus cover and legal pages) that I threw together in 2 days for the Fat Frog Challenge.
• I'm Cornered - a dozen corner geomorphs
• Into the Depths of Erdea Manor - the first section of level 3 of this dungeon.
• Hellad Manor & Tower - a manor and dungeon map from my Saber Lake campaign.
• Old School Mercenaries - and update on the progress on the OSM game.
• Extreme Dungeon Makeover - Caves 1 - where I re-draw the southern caves from the venerable Caves of Chaos.
• Extreme Dungeon Makeover - Caves 2 - where I re-draw the western caves from the Caves of Chaos.
