You slog and slosh through the water. After twenty yards or so, you notice a hole in the east side of the passage, where there is a pool. It appears to be deep, as you can see the muck-covered floor in the passageway, but you can't see one in the pool.

Einar flips a coin into the pool. "Heads up", he says to his companions.

It plops in and sinks out of sight. The murkiness of the pool makes it impossible to see how deep it is.

Please subtract one coin from your inventory.

"Hey Grimes," Castinus quips. "You dropped a copper. Best go in after it." He looks to Shae for some sign of approval at his incredible wit.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes smiles and glances at Shae's bottom, then back at Castinus and says "Hmm.. Shae, can you bend down and see if you can see it for me?" And he smirks, then takes off his pack and most of his gear except for his sword and says "I better go find my copper, eh?" And he'll test the depth of the pool, if it's deep enough to submerge in, he'll see what's in it.

The naked hobbit dives in...

Shae - Fighter/Mage
Shae covers a smirk with her hand. Stealing a glance to see Grimes' reaction, she playfully swats Castinus on the shoulder, chiding him. "You are awful!" she whispers.
Any outrage she feels at Grimes' suggestion to bend over is lost to embarrassment as she quickly turns away at the halfling's striptease.

Grimes surfaces with a gasp and then a smile and winks at Castinus and says "Wouldn't you know it, I lost my copper. But I found something better. Hey Shae, why don't you shed those duds and I'll show you something. On second thought, we need to keep moving. Hey, Furuk... care to join me in here? I found a wheel of some sort down here, I couldn't budge it, but maybe you and I can do it together." He frowns and says "Uhh, I don't know what the thing does, but what could it hurt to turn it, eh?"

OOC: Grimes will try to persuade Furuk to join him and perhaps with our combined effort can turn the thing. Hopefully it does something cool and doesn't release THE KRAKEN!
