You could play a character that is:
a brain in a jar
a ghost using living bodies like a body glove
a 1/2 "insert your favorite creature/race"
an undead type
an immortal
a mummy
an agent with extreme skills, training, and tools
a man made of living stone
a wizard/witch
etc.
What is not to love
