"I am not a number!"

Was thumbing through the game and system, getting re-acclimated to the surreal otherworldliness of Sandman today (owned the original boxed set way back when). The system and setting are all pretty well self-contained, but I was trying to puzzle out other uses for it beyond its initial scope. Then it hit me:

-- Characters are trapped in a world they do not understand where bizarre events happen daily.
-- They are watched and manipulated by a shadowy, unseen, unknown puppetmaster.
-- The identities of the PCs are stripped from them.
-- Their task is to escape this surreal nightmare.

-- With very little tweaking, Sandman would make an AWESOME "Prisoner" RPG.

Not knowing anything about Sandman, I have no idea if this would work. But if it does, that's awesome!

Now I should use that code to order before it expires!

be seeing you
