Several D6 products are free to download. I just got a copy of the Star Wars D6 book, and it looks pretty darn cool.

Here are some other links:

Mini-Six is really well laid-out and presented. It has me jonsing to design a game for my group based on the Chronicles Of Amber books!

Further entwining myself with the seductive mistress that is Mini Six, I knocked out a quick five room dungeon for it over at my blog. I'd love to hear what folks think of it. The "story" isn't anything groundbreaking. I'm mostly just curious if other, more seasoned Mini Six (or other D6 games) players feel like it works.

And here's another five room dungeon for Mini Six. As before, I'm definitely interested in hearing what the D6 grognards think of it. Enjoy!

VP, I really like those two dungeons. The kobold lair is a nice classic bit of adventuring fun and the Naga Demon is just vicious and with a deadly pay off at the end. You did a great job on them. I hope you don't mind but I posted a link up to each over on the WEGFanForum so the D6 fans over there could get a gander at them too. The thread can be found here = http://www.wegfansite.com/forum/showthr ... ther-forum

I look forward to seeing what else you come up with for it.

Glad you dig 'em, Captain! I've posted two more since the Naga Demon one:

* The Pyramid of Kheptah Atemu
* Into Yamahari Forest

I'm aiming to do one more and then bundle them up into a PDF for easy distribution/reference. It'll be a few days before I get the 5th one done, I suspect, and I'm going to use the bundling as an exercise in InDesign layout, so this stuff won't be ready real soon, but it shouldn't be too long, either.

I'm also entirely chuffed that you chose to share them with other folks. The more people who see them the more chance that someone gets to use them! Cheers :)

And the 5th and final (for now, at least) 5 Room Dungeon is posted:

The Fire Giant's Forge

Now I'll see about monkeying around with InDesign to lay these out into a unified PDF. No promises on a release date, though :)

The completion date was actually pretty soon, it turned out. I finished the PDF the same day, I just never mentioned it here (oops!). So, for completeness' sake, I shall now direct those of you with an interest to the Strange Stones 5 Room Dungeon Compilation PDF. Enjoy!

Finally after a couple months of play by post my first chance to get into the rules for a gunfight; a mountain man and a Ute shooting at each other across a draw. The cover played in more than I had suspected. The ute was in good cover hiding behind rock and bushes I gave him 75% cover while the mountain man was laying prone on a trail slightly elevated from the ute's position, I gave him 50% cover. It took three shots but the NPC ute hit on the third and incapacitated the PC mountain man. The mountain man's sidekick dog continues the fight and melee ensues.

These rules work very well, and are very easy for the novice to pick up.

I just got a chance to check out Mini Six. Very nice indeed. :) Hopefully I will get a YouTube vid up about it in the next week or so.
