Patrick Kennedy brings us Shadowbrook Manor, a challenging "funhouse" adventure for characters of levels 1-3.

Once a powerful proponent of Law, the Archmage Tazimack the Red was eventually driven mad by a fear of mortality. As he slipped into insanity his retirement home began to reflect the chaotic bent of his mind. Long after Tazimack’s unnaturally animated body has disintegrated, his manor house remains as a shadow cast by a twisted intellect. Can the characters bring order to this chaos?

Find it in print and in PDF format!

I just bought the PDF & printed it out. Im going to read through it & I'll post some thoughts.

Im thinking about running it here as a PBP game.

I'm running this now - as a DCC game!

Although, really it would be more suited to LL AEC (DCC is deadly enough as it is and this module has some surprises). I wish I didn't know so much about it, because I would liked to have been a player in it.

Ive read it through- AWESOME!! I wish it was a bit longer- 3rd floor, bigger basement, larger yards, etc. Your players must have a sense of humor- some things are a bit silly or quirky. But LOTS OF FUN!!! I think players should be Level-2, it seems a bit too deadly for Level-1. I will modify it slightly- but it is 95%+ usable exactly as written.
Great stuff- I hope I see more like this! Definitely worth the $4.95.
Thank you Patrick Kennedy. :D

Blood axe: Thank you so much for the great review! This is my first published adventure and I really poured myself into it so it means a lot to me to hear you felt it was worth your money.

Thakazum: Yeah, by the time I was done writing it I wanted to erase my brain so I could play in it too; I'd love to hear about your experience running it when you've finished if you get a chance.

Also, just as a side note, I saw this the other day and had a laugh; I'm sure it's just a coincidence but it's fun to think WotC is taking their cue from the osr these days: http://www.amazon.com/Shadowghast-Manor-Dungeon-Dungeons-Accessory/dp/0786958014. Coming this December.

Yeah, nextautumn, this is good stuff. Funhouse-y but it all ties together. I would say more but I might spoil someone.
