"There'll be time later to foul the water, friend Grimes", Einar chuckles quietly. The thief sneaks to the hall and makes sure the coast is clear before motioning for his companions to follow.

He will shoulder his bow and draw his blade with the intent of ambushing the resting beasts.

The Dorm

You follow Einar across the hall to the other room, difficult to do since he has his cloak on.

This room is filled with piles of hides and bedding, stacked in rows. Some of the piles are contained in wooden frames; others lie directly on the floor. The place smells of rotting plants and fish.

There are eight lizardmen here, seven of which are warriors, the eighth looking not at all like a warrior. Five of them appear to be asleep. Upon seeing you, one of the awake ones does a double take at your robes and then yells, <<Ada penjahat di sini. Bunuh mereka!>> This wakes the others as two of the awake ones close in, with spiked clubs in their hands. The other five spring up, grasping for their clubs. The last one, looking not at all like a warrior, screams alarm and dives behind one of the beds.

(secret roll) Neither group is surprised. The five waking lizardfolk will take a round to get up and engage.

Grimes charges in to the closest lizard and says "What? You don't like my robes?" and he'll take a swing at him.

Dorm fight

INITIATIVE baddies d6, 1; party d6, 6 Party has initiative

Dieter casts sleep and catches (2d8, 5) the five lizardmen who are waking and sends them back to dreamland.

Grimes charges the first lizardman who set the alarm (d20, 18, HIT, dmg d6+3, 6+3=9) and slashes him, causing grave wound.

Furuk charges the second Lizardfolk warrior (d20, 16, HIT, dmg d8+3, 7+3=10) and nearly kills it with a single stroke!

Dandy (autopilot) throws his hammer at the lizardman engaging Grimes (d20, 12, HIT, dmg d8+2x2, 5+2x2=14) finishing him off.

Einar (autopilot) is invisible under his cloak and attempts a backstab on the one engaging Furuk (d20, 19, HIT, dmg d8x2, 6x2=12). He takes his hood off in front of you and as he pulls his sword out of the back of the dead lizardman.

The two who were engaging you are dead. The other five are magically asleep. From the corner underneath the bedding you hear a whimpering voice in common (!) saying, <<Please, spare me. I mean no harm. I'm just a pilgrim here.>> He speaks with a strong lisp but you can understand him.

Drawing his dagger Dieter will stalk forward and cut the throats of the sleeping reptiles. He'll keep an eye out for the one that spoke. Might be able to get some useful info from that one... he'll say to his companions. It'd be great to know what that pool is for.

Grimes will cautiously advance toward the sound of the voice. He doesn't trust it, so he'll be extra careful. If it so much as jumps, he's going to cut it to pieces...

The slept lizardmen are dead, thanks to Dieter's blade.

The bedding where the lizardman had hidden is visibly trembling. <<Please. Mercy please>> the voice calls out.
