Wildwyck County: A historical horror setting for GORE

Just a brief announcement for fans of GORE that I'm writing a regular series for Fight On! magazine that details the fiction Wildwyck County, a 1920s setting located in the Hudson Valley region of New York State. The first article appeared in Fight On! #13 and a second article has been submitted for future publication.

Hudson Valley has a long-standing reputation for weirdness and I'm doing my best to tap into that history using the GORE system. While the place does wander into Lovecraftian territory from time to time, my intent is to create adventure seeds and monstrosities that aren't dependent on the Cthulhu Mythos, thus allowing the 'Wyck to be used for an alternative to your standard shoggoths and GOOs.
