Tret, rogue

Let's find a good place to set up camp fr the night. I can take first shift.

Soldath - Mage

Soldath will help make a fire and get dinner ready.

You find a secluded spot, and before long Soldath has a fire going, with some tasty food cooking. The smell alone warms your cold, tired limbs, and lifts your spirits.

Any other actions? I imagine you're eager to eat some chow, then get some sleep... somewhere that doesn't smell like goblin.

Athelstan - FIghter

Athelstan savors the goblin-aroma free air and takes his spare time to clean his gear (and himself) if we can find some water source. He'll also clean and oil his armor, and sharpen his sword. He'll brush and feed his horse prior to going to bed. He's fairly quiet tonight, anxious to get back on the trail of something.

Water is easy to come by in the forest after a rain storm. You have no trouble cleaning your weapons and yourself.

Any other actions? If not, I'll advance the turn tonight.

Tret, rogue

Tret slips into the shadows around the camp and explores. If he sees a rabbit, he will try to take it down for supper.

Renardius (Cleric)

Renardius will cast CLW on Soldath if he has any remaining (Sorry, lost track). He will memorise 3xCLW.

Tret, you find no rabbits, no conies, and no taters (po-TA-toes). Sam and Frodo must have been through here earlier and cleaned up. ;) Rations it is for the lot of you.

The night passes without incident.

Day 15, Nytdain, Thaumont 15th, Dymrak Forest, sunrise

...if there were any sun visible. The dawn comes, and with it more rain. A cold wind is already fighting with you as you struggle to get the morning fire burning. Large drops of rain pelt the budding trees.

Despite the weather, daylight affords you a better view of your surroundings. You find yourself on a ridge overlooking a vast valley to the south. The trees in the valley appear to be in full bloom--unlike the rest of the forest--yet dark and dense. Between the mists and cloud cover, you'd swear they were all gray...as if made of stone.

Actions?

Soldath - Mage

Let's keep moving toward the lair, keep the light in the sky.
