Levelling question

Postby Dungeoneer » Fri May 27, 2011 1:51 am

Hi! I think I'm finally gonna get to play some MF this summer when my nephew comes out to visit. So I'm looking thru the rules and I want to make sure I understand this right...

So, you do NOT get more Hit Dice when you level, right? Unless you roll to add 1 point to an ability, and then roll Constitution to determine which ability. (Or unless you find some techno-treasure that boosts your HD/HP). Is this correct? Thanx in advance!

I recall discussing this on my blog a while ago. Take a read and see if this puts some things into perspective for you:
A God At First Level (Or “A Crap-Ton Of Hit Points”)

I was sure I'd read it right. The only 2 RPGs I've ever played were D&D and LL, so that kind of threw me. Just wanted to double-check. Thanks all!
