1979 Gamma World Sandbox Generator
I was looking about for some maps for MF or GW, and came across this blog post:

at the bottom is a link to a document typed up in 1990 based upon something from the late 1970's:

It's a procedural way to generate a fairly large region in a sandbox style.
I also came across a "corrected" version of the 1st Edition GW map of North America:

I always wanted to make something based upon the region where I live (probably near the new shoreline north west of
Nu Ork (New York City). I am trying to get some "beer & pretzels" style gaming arranged locally one Friday a month, let's see if I can get any takers among the AD&D players I have corralled...
