I hate flipping around the book while playing the game.

So I printed out the monster section digest-sized and flip through THAT when playing now.

However, I think I have an improvement for my purposes:

Business Card Critters!


Reformatting the monster entries to fit on regular business cards. The nice thing with regular business cards is you can buy the printer cardstock for peanuts (even at the dollar store) and it means you are printing them out on card instead of paper, you don't have to cut them up (perfed!) and finally, you can put them in a deck protector box sideways from the way you would put your CCG cards so they are portable.

Before a game, I can pull out the cards I'll be needing and not have to flip through anything once the game starts.

So, if I finish making these (yeah, I've only got the one page done as a proof-of-concept), would anyone be interested in them?

Yeah, those inspired me, but it just seems silly to not take advantage of pre-cut business cards.

Honestly, I think the business card idea is too good not to use. For me, since I am apparently unable to remember the combat matrix progressions, I think I'd want THAC0 on there somewhere. Great idea though.

Doesn't matter, the most useful stuff ofetn isn't pretty. This is a good idea. Spells done like this might be useful too.

I'd use them!!

My books are always trashed by paper-clips because that's how I would mark out the pages w/the monsters I wanted to use.

This idea is much simpler, and easily stored behind a DM screen.

I can throw that in there too, even though I never use it. I keep a copy of the combat matrix printed on the gaming table.
