Dieter will pull out his shaft and let the room bask in its radiance. Does anything appear that was not apparent before?

The room comes into sharper focus but you see nothing new. Just the four drums and the large double doors at the far end of this hallway/room.

Furuk takes a mental note of the missing bodies while proceeding back through the statue room. He cautiously enters the wide hallway and will check the floors, walls, and ceilings as he walks towards the double doors.

Furuk finds the way safe. The walls and ceiling are very rough, natural rock with some work to "square" out the room. The floor is natural cave floor -- mostly flat but with some fissures and crevices.

No traps, murderholes or other devices are found in the approach to the double doors.

Anadrea

"Perhaps there souls have been taken by Orcus?"

Will wait for a thief to check the doors or an armored fighter to open it

Let the red dawn surmise
What we shall do,
When this blue starlight dies
And all is through.

Furuk will wait until the group is prepared and then makes an attempt to open the doors. If he cannot open the doors, he will step aside and allow Maeglin to take a look at them.

Did any of the bodies have a key? Dieter says with a shrug. I have a sinking feeling the drums may be some sort of maniacal entry device, not a very quiet one at that. He says eyeing the drums.

OCC @ GM: Did we search all of the bodies?

OOC: You searched all of the bodies you've discovered inside the skull. You didn't have time to search those outside in the ceremonial area due to the archers firing from the skull eyes.
