Busy day yesterday, I didn't get a chance to check the forum. The no links/no pm's for posts doesn't stop spammers, just stops them posting live links and bugging people in pm's. Part of my daily routine is to block obvious spammers. Unfortunately, every now and then we get one who floods the forum with messages rather than just post once and go away. This latest one posted 30 times. Because I missed yesterday, I'm now having a busy day.

Thats why I suggested some "helpers" that can delete posts and/or temporarily suspend accounts to stop them from posting.

I am the helper.

I'm normally on here every day, but yesterday was just one of those days. All the new members who are obvious spammers have been blocked. Those who sign up under believable names and haven't yet posted, sadly I have to wait till they actually do post spam before I can block them. It's been pretty quiet on the spamming front lately, so I don't know what triggered this sudden attack. Anyway, normal services have resumed.

Some of them have a link to some crappy website in their signature or profile. That can be a good sign. Thanks for your hard work.
