OOC: Not sure who is around here, hate to use a sleep spell on them, but don't want anyone to escape and rouse any others who might be around.

Axing Questions, round 1

INITIATIVE baddies [1d6] = 3 party [1d6] = 2 baddies have it

Bugbear1 tries to "shaft" Pax monster attack [1d20] = 8 but misses.
Bugbear2 spears at Sean monster attack [1d20] = 10 but misses.
Bugbear3 throws his spear at Bror monster attack [1d20] = 12 missing also
Bugbear4 aims at Bror too monster attack [1d20] = 9
Gnoll1 and Gnoll2 stop trying to clean up the mess they've made (Calthas thinks that might be the cause of the yelling) and moves to attack. Next round...

Calmert Calmert mace [1d20] = 15, dmg [1d6] = 3 plays whack a gnoll.
Calthas fires Calthas longbow [1d20+2] = 11+2 = 13, dmg [1d8] = 5 just misses his target.
Effric Effric scimitar [1d20+1] = 6+1 = 7, dmg [1d8+1] = 3+1 = 4 misses the gnoll.
Pax Pax ax [1d20+1] = 8+1 = 9, dmg [1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5 can't connect with bugbear1
Tavin gets in the fray Tavin bastard sword [1d20] = 8, dmg [2d4] = 5 but cannot connect.
Thurwin sings a lullaby sleep [2d8] = 9 and one gnoll and two bugbears fall into slumber.

Bugbear1 is engaged with Pax.
Bugbear2 & 3 are sleeping.
Bugbear4 is moving to engage someone.
Gnoll1 has a knot on his noggin.
Gnoll2 is dreaming.

Pax swings mightily... at the bugbears nether region... (he's heard this is where bugbears are most vulnerable).
OoC: It's nice to see that my tabletop dice rolls and my digital dice rolls are simpatico... lol

Thurwin keeps watch
Effric Effric scimitar [1d20+1] = 13+1 = 14, dmg [1d8+1] = 6+1 = 7 finishes off bugbear4 with a mighty chop.
Pax Pax ax [1d20+1] = 17+1 = 18, dmg [1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5 gets an A in his neutering class.
Calmert Calmert mace [1d20] = 4, dmg [1d6] = 5 swings but misses the gnoll!
Calthas (seeing that 4 is down) Calthas longbow [1d20+2] = 19+2 = 21, dmg [1d8] = 7 aims at bugbear1, who gets the shaft.

Morale [2d6] = 11

The concussed gnoll makes a run for it! He heads out the door to the east!

OOC: The gnoll was the last living (non sleeping) combatant, right?
Assuming so
IC: Thurwin points toward the gnoll and says "GET HIM! He mustn't escape!" He'll start to head toward the door so he can see where the thing is going.
