Einar, human thief

Einar says to his companions, "After me.", and dons the hood of his cloak. He cautiously ascends the stairs as far as the light from the room will allow. He makes an attempt to be mindful of false stairs or dart traps from the walls, and looks over head for falling debris.

Anadrea

Shuts the secret door with the coffer in it carefully avoiding the needle trap. Follows after the thief up the stairwell. "Maybe we are heading up to the brain cavity?" she ponders aloud

Treading the stairs carefully, you come to a door. Again, this is obviously the backside of a secret entrance. It's propped ajar a bit and opening it more you see a dark hallway leading north, your door in the west wall.

On the ground at the entrance is the remains of a large boulder, parts of which were propping the door ajar before you opened it. Dieter, Cygnus and Anadrea recognize it immediately as the one that injured them from the door trap. You are clearly at the south end of one of the tunnels of the labyrinthine level you just departed.

At least you know the way out.

Anadrea

"Maybe we should head back to the room we were just in and try the south door instead?"

Einar, human thief

"I am in agreeance". Einar slinks back down the stairs, across the room, and to the south door. When the remainder of the party is in the room with him, he will attempt to open the door.

Agreed, I don't think we want to wander the halls of traps again!

Einar (or whatever his name is ;) ) opens the door to the south. The corridor stretches before you. There is an opening to the west not far from you and the hall splits just beyond that.

Does Dieter take the rock light source?

If the egg shaped stone is small and not to cumbersome Dieter will take. To the west maybe?

"West sounds good. We still need to find the big nest of these cult creeps and kill them all. Oh, and find that kid also."
