KALVAIN seeing Dieter's action decides against throwing additional powder on the fire and instead will fire his crossbow at the cultists.
Rolling my Percent Chance to Know to parse Dungeons and Dragons.

ACTION

Dieter torches the line of powder. The line flares up and the cultists are revealed in the flickering light. They come up the tunnel but (save vs Petrify, d20, 16, 14, 7, 2, 3, 6, two succeed, four fail) four of the six are momentarily dazzled by the flareup, having been adjusted to the darkness.

COMBAT

(Initiative, d6, d6, 6, 3, PCs have initiative)

Dandy throws his hammer (d20, 17, HIT) impacting one of the cultists, one not dazzled. The hammer (dmg, d8x2, 3*2=6) crushes the cultists skull, killing him, and he collapses in a heap.

Kalvain fires his heavy crossbow (d20, 9, HIT) and nails a cultist (dmg, d8, 5) and the dazzled cultist screams in agony.

Anadrea swings her longsword (d20, 14, HIT) and slices deep (dmg, d8, 8+1=9) killing the cultist with her blow.

Maeglin throws a knife (d20, 20!, CRITICAL HIT, MAX damage), and it sinks deep, seriously wounding the dazzled cultist.

Furuk fires his crossbow (d20, 20!, CRITICAL HIT, MAX damage) killing yet another dazzled cultist with a sure shot.

Dieter throws a dart (d20, 4, MISS) but it flies wide of its mark.

Cygnus wakes from the activity but cannot act this round.

The surviving un-dazzled cultist swings his mace at Anadrea (d20, 12, HIT, dmg, d6, 3) wounding her.

You face four cultists, two gravely wounded, and all four now undazzled and ready to fight.

What are your actions?

SWEET!! I got 2 attacks in one round... I'm like a Dwarven/Monk/Cleric! :D
Hmmm.... speaking of interventions... :P

Dandy prepares his shield to accept a charge, if there is a cultist charging him; if not, he will prepare his shield and charge a cultist with his shield!

"Time for you to die!" Maeglin draws another dagger, and throws it at any of the wounded cultists, trying to finish them off.

COMBAT

(Initiative, d6, d6, 6, 6, simultaneous combat)

Dieter casts continual light on the eyes of a cultist (saving throw v spells, d20, 8, FAIL). The cultist drops his mace and clutches his eyes, blinded.

Maeglin throws another dagger (d20, 11+2=13, HIT) which hits a wounded cultist. The blade (damage d4, 2) is enough to put the cultist out of his misery. He takes a last, desperate swing at Anadrea (d20, 19, HIT, dmg d6, 2), causing her some injury before his life flees him.

Anadrea slashes at the cultist that wounded her previously (d20, 17+1=18, HIT, dmg d8, 5+1=6) killing him instantly. That cultist's final blow (d20, 8, MISS) swings wide and he collapses, dead.

Dandy charges with his shield (d20, 8+1=9, MISS) as a cultist attacks him (d20, 17, HIT). The cultist dodges the shield as his mace comes over it, hitting the dwarf (dmg d6, 6) and injuring him.

The blinded cultist swings wildly at where he thought someone was, but (d20, 8-4=4, MISS) his mace falls impotently.

Cygnus is able to get a stone off from his sling (d20, 6+2=8, MISS) but misses in the commotion.

Furuk slashes with his sword at the blind cultist (d20, 17+3=20, HIT) which (damage d8, 5+1=6) puts the blind man out of his misery.

Kalvain swings his mighty sword at the last remaining cultist, that just bonked Dandy, and (d20, 17+4=21, HIT, dmg d8, 3+4=7) slices him through. He dies in a puddle of blood.

The flurry of action is done. Your enemies are vanquished, at least those that came into this room. Your sleep was disturbed though, so healing and spells have not occurred (other than the laying on of hands, earlier).

Dandy Dwarf Cleric OI!! Not this time ye snake worship'n mongrel!! If Dandy has his hammer back, he will retaliate against the cultist that hit him with the mace.

OOC: I hope the +4 ToHit/Dmg. brings some hurt to that fool!! :lol:

That fool is a corpse. He was dispatched by Kalvain.
